Meet my print-out…Grad School, here I come!!!!
Yes sireeee, you read it right. I just enrolled myself to Xavier University Graduate school taking up my Masters Degree in Nursing. Todo na ni pre! Aside from my teaching job (with a load bigger than I imagined, but manageable, I guess), I’m going back to school as a student. For the first year, there will be no grant-in from the school, therefore, ME, MYSELF and I will be paying for such pursuit to higher education. Will I be able to get the coveted A I’m sooooo longing for? Gee, I hope so! I only have 6 units this semester because of my teaching load. I know I’m being such a geek here, but spare me for being overly excited! Okay, I’m stopping now.
I think I’m turning Japanese ..
Meet my Jap lantern…sooooooo cool!!!!!
For so long, I’ve been wishing for paper lanterns to light up my life…and here it is!!! Last week, I moved in to my brother’s room, fixed it up, and TADAH! my little piece of heaven. Contrary to the title I gave this sub-post, my “new” room isn’t exactly Jap-Zen style. I was aiming for the beach-resort feel, but haven’t gotten there yet. With the blue walls and window treatment, are my white furniture (from the bed, closet, pseudo-study table, to the white door and ceiling), shelves from Handyman, and my solitary ORANGE paper lantern. I’m so thrilled with the results. So if things don’t work out for me in Nursing, there’s always the artsy side of me to explore.

So there! Me being such a busy bee for the coming school year…and oh, did I mention my stint at Kid’s Place Learning Center through Sponsorship Program as a Volunteer Health Worker? ;-p
